When I was a little girl I remember watching my mom put on her makeup in the bathroom. The vanity cupboard that held all her makeup was like a wonderland to me! She sold Nutrimetics at the time, so a lot of her makeup was from that line. The peach and gold compacts and lipstick tubes were so exciting to open but I didn’t dare try any on. I can still see my mom putting on her foundation, the way she put a dab of it on her nose, cheeks and forehead. Then came her blue eyeliner and mascara, her rosey blush and lipstick. Such a simple routine now that I think of it and yet so effective and pretty.
From a young age I loved makeup. I was the one to do my friends makeup for parties, graduation, and eventually their weddings. But oddly enough the thought of being a makeup artist didn’t even occur to me until my mom saw an ad in the local paper for a makeup artistry course after I graduated high school. I signed up, did really well, and started freelancing.
I love makeup. I love how it is so individual. No two woman are the same, so my work is never dull or boring. I love all makeup looks, from very natural, to very dramatic. I love to laugh and sing and will generally do both while I’m applying your makeup. I can’t help it - I’m a happy person and it’s just what I do! I’m honest and genuine and work hard to make sure each and every client leaves my chair feeling beautiful and confident and happy. If you trust me with your beautiful face for your special day, be it your wedding, your graduation, a photo shoot, or just because, I will not take it for granted. I know those photos last a lifetime and I want you to look back on that special day with the ultimate satisfaction because you looked and felt your absolute best!
